Budiman Wiharja Teh

Founder and Director

Budiman was born in 1981 in Medan, Indonesia. He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the Knowlton School of Architecture at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. 

During his professional career he has participated in designing more than a dozen mixed-use and commercial projects for NBBJ, an international design office, in Columbus, Ohio. Some of the recent projects include an 78.000 m2 innovative corporate headquarters for a prestigious banks in Jordan (under construction), the interior of China National Convention Center and Hotels in the Olympic Park in Beijing (completed in 2008 as the state of the art and largest convention and exhibition facility in the country), and a 290.000 m2 high-tech office campus and retail development completed in 2007 in the Changfeng district in Shanghai.

Budiman established BWT Architecture in 2011 in Jakarta to specialize in creating contemporary urban architecture and planning in the South East Asia region. He is currently a lecturer at Universitas Pelita Harapan teaching architectural design studio.
